Thought tube amps were hype until I counted 47 hours on one set of tubes
I always figured tube guys were just chasing a look, but I kept a log on my Scott 222C and hit 47 hours before it needed anything. My buddy Rick in Portland told me to check the bias every 10 hours, and once I did that the thing just ran clean. Turns out I was wrong about them being fussy, they just want a little attention. Anyone else keep a tube log or am I the only nerd doing that?
