I was just counting up my vinyl collection last night and realized I hit exactly 100 records. Honestly didn't expect to get there so fast. Started picking up stuff at garage sales about 2 years ago and now my shelf is full. Most of them are 70s rock albums I found for like 3 bucks each. Has anyone else hit a milestone like this and felt the need to slow down or switch what you're collecting?
I replaced the belt, adjusted the tracking force, even bought a new preamp, only to realize the hum was coming from my LED desk lamp being two feet away, has anyone else chased a phantom noise that long?
Was rewinding a Maxell XL-II on my Pioneer CT-F1250 in the basement when the mechanism just crunched down and wrapped the tape around the pinch roller, and now I'm trying to splice it back together without losing any audio, has anyone here actually had luck with tape repair kits or is it usually a lost cause?
