Vent: I thought air fryer broccoli would be soggy, but it's my new favorite side

I always thought air fryer broccoli would be soggy, so I never tried it. Last week, I was in a rush and gave it a shot with some oil and garlic. Cooked at 380 for 12 minutes, shaking once. It came out crispy and delicious, better than my oven! Now I'm hooked and make it all the time. What other vegetables should I try in the air fryer? Any tips for avoiding sogginess? I'm excited to hear your ideas!

Man, my buddy swore up and down his air fryer was just for frozen fries. I finally talked him into trying brussels sprouts last month and now he won't shut up about them, he's literally making them twice a week.

Oh man, I was the same way, I avoided it for ages thinking it'd be a sad, wet mess. Joke's on me, my stubbornness cost me years of crispy broccoli. Brussels sprouts are a game changer, cut them in half and they get these amazing crispy edges. The real trick is don't crowd the basket, give them some space to breathe, or they'll steam instead of crisp up. Carrots tossed in a little oil and honey are my next favorite, they almost taste roasted.

Totally get that, I put off buying one for so long thinking it was just a fad.
