Used to grease the basket with spray oil, now I just line it with foil for easy cleanup

Heard foil can mess with the nonstick coating over time though...

Oh man, I tried the foil thing for a while too but I had a different experience. Actually I started doing it because I got tired of scrubbing that stupid basket, especially after making something sticky like honey garlic chicken. But then I noticed the foil kept tearing or the food would stick to the foil anyway, which kinda defeated the purpose for me. So I switched to those silicone liners with the little holes in them, you can get a pack of them for like ten bucks and they just rinse right off. Now I don't even bother with foil or spray most of the time, just pop the liner in and everything slides off. The liner does take a tiny bit longer to heat up but honestly I can't even tell the difference with most things.

That silicone liner is a game changer for sticky stuff. I hate scrubbing too and the tearing issue with foil is real. Might have to grab a pack myself.
