Tried putting frozen hash brown patties in the air fryer without preheating
They came out soggy on one side and burnt on the other, so now I always run it for 3 minutes empty first, anyone else had that issue with frozen breakfast stuff?

That three minute preheat solves the uneven cooking problem every time. Same thing happens with frozen tater tots if you skip it.
