Tried a $30 silicone air fryer liner and it was a total mess
Picked up a pack of those silicone liners from Amazon last week, figured they'd make cleanup easier. First batch of chicken wings came out soggy because the grease just pooled under the food instead of dripping through. Anyone else had better luck with the metal mesh ones instead?

Those silicone liners are garbage for anything fatty, they just trap the grease. Metal mesh ones work way better since the oil actually drips through and the food gets crispy. Just make sure to soak the mesh in hot soapy water right after cooking so it doesn't bake on.

Saw a chef on YouTube say the same thing about silicone @xenawhite, totally agree on the mesh.
