The frozen broccoli debate at my local diner got me thinking
I was grabbing breakfast at Lou's Grill last weekend and overheard two guys arguing about air fryer frozen broccoli. One guy said you gotta thaw it first or it turns out soggy. The other guy swore by throwing it in straight from the bag at 400 degrees for 12 minutes. I've been doing it both ways for months now. My family likes the thawed version because it gets crispier edges. But my coworker says frozen direct is easier and he gets better crunch. Which way do you think works best for frozen broccoli in an air fryer?

Jump right in with the frozen direct method. I've tested this like 20 times (no joke) and throwing it in frozen at 400 for 12 minutes gives way better texture. Thawing first makes it mushy on the inside no matter how crispy the edges get. Plus it's just faster and less messy which matters when you're hungry. Your coworker has the right idea honestly.

Used to swear by thawing first, but you and the coworker might be onto something here. Gonna try the straight-from-bag method tonight and see if I've been overcomplicating my broccoli this whole time.
