Okay, I need to say this about air fryer chicken wings

Everyone says you need to pat them totally dry and use cornstarch for crispy skin, but I just hit 50 wings made my way (just a little oil and seasoning, straight from the package) and they were perfect. My friend in Chicago tried my method and said hers were soggy, but I think her air fryer basket was too crowded. Has anyone else skipped the extra drying step and still gotten good results?

Wait, did you see that article last week about how air fryer wattage changes everything? My buddy's cheap model runs cooler, so he HAS to dry his wings first. My newer one gets super hot fast, so I can skip that step. Your friend's soggy wings are probably from crowding like you said, but her machine might just be weak. It's not one rule for all air fryers.

Ha, maybe my air fryer is just doing all the work for my lazy self.

Actually, I've found that drying wings helps in any air fryer...
