My oven timer broke during Thanksgiving and an air fryer saved the meal
Last Thanksgiving my main oven decided to stop heating up right when I had the turkey halfway cooked. I was visiting my sister in Cleveland and she pulled out her Cosori air fryer as a backup. I ended up finishing the turkey legs and wings in there at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes. They came out way crispier than the oven ever made them, honestly. Now I always roast chicken parts in my air fryer instead of the big oven, even for regular dinners. Has anyone else had a kitchen disaster that made you rely on your air fryer more?

The real game changer nobody talks about is how an air fryer handles the sides while the oven does the main dish. Last Christmas my mom's oven was full with the ham and green bean casserole so we used the air fryer for roasted potatoes and glazed carrots. They actually came out faster than the oven stuff and we didnt have to juggle cook times. It freed up the oven to focus on the big stuff. Plus the air fryer doesn't heat up the whole kitchen which is nice when you're already sweating from cooking all day. So honestly an air fryer is more like a second oven than a replacement for one.

Are you kidding me? An air fryer is just a toy compared to a real oven. I tried doing roasted potatoes in mine once and they came out dry and sad, nowhere near as good as the oven ones. Honestly, I would have just ordered pizza before relying on that little fan oven to save Thanksgiving.
