My old apartment smelled like buffalo sauce for two years straight. I went through a serious wing phase and my air fryer was the real hero. It's a great way to feed a crowd without heating up the whole kitchen.

My kitchen fan ran for three months straight after my own buffalo sauce era. The real fix is wiping down the air fryer basket and the area around it with a mix of white vinegar and water right after you cook. That smell sticks to every surface if you let the grease cool. I also started opening a window while it runs, even in winter, just for a few minutes. It makes a huge difference and you won't have a permanent wing scent in your furniture.

My last place had a permanent garlic powder haze from my own air fryer experiments. I think the walls might have been seasoned better than the food.
