Jumped on the frozen broccoli in the air fryer bandwagon after months of mocking it
I laughed at my roommate for air frying frozen broccoli for months until I tried a batch tossed in olive oil and garlic salt at 400 for 8 minutes and now I can't go back, anyone else have a side dish they swore was pointless until they actually tried it?

Roasted brussels sprouts were THAT for me. Hated them my whole life, thought everyone who claimed to love them was LYING. Then my sister made them in the oven with bacon and balsamic, and I literally texted her the next day apologizing for all the years of shade I threw. The problem is people boil them or steam them and they get mushy and bitter, but high heat makes them crispy and sweet on the inside. Did you ever try roasting fresh broccoli vs frozen to see if there's a texture difference worth the extra prep time?

Totally agree @zara_hill46, frozen broccoli gets watery no matter what you do.

Koreans have been air frying frozen broccoli for YEARS with gochujang and sesame oil before it was trendy. Try tossing yours in gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) next time and thank me later.
