It's a cute trick but honestly how much planet-saving are we really doing with broccoli scraps. The real waste is like, entire industries dumping stuff.

The US wastes around 40 percent of its food every year. But that's a small part compared to industrial dumping from factories and farms. They release way more bad stuff without any real punishment. So saving broccoli scraps feels good but changes almost nothing. We might be kidding ourselves if we think this is a real fix.

But what if doing the small stuff makes us push for the big changes too? Feels like giving up if we say nothing matters unless it's a perfect fix.
