Air fried 50 chicken wings in one go last weekend

I got a double basket air fryer 6 months ago and finally tested its limits. Cooked 50 wings in 3 batches, each one took 20 minutes at 380 degrees. They came out way crispier than my old deep fryer ever did and used almost no oil. My buddy said they tasted better than the ones from Wingstop near our place in Austin. I used baking powder in the rub to dry the skin out first. Has anyone else done a big batch like this or am I just being extra?

Double batch em back to back for parties and just shake the basket halfway through to keep em even.

Baking powder trick is legit, I use it on my chicken wings every time now and it's night and day difference. 50 wings in one go sounds like a solid operation, especially if you're beating Wingstop. I did 40 for a Super Bowl party last year and it took a few batches too, but the results were way better than any takeout around here. The double basket air fryer is a game changer for big batches, even if you have to rotate them around. Just don't skimp on the dry rub next time and you're golden.
