Went to Moab last weekend and the crowds were insane at Pritchett Canyon

I drove out to Moab with my buddy to run Pritchett Canyon, but we barely got to start before we were stuck in a line of 12 rigs waiting at the first ledge. There were guys on side-by-sides cutting in front of us and one dude in a stock Jeep was trying to run Rocker Knocker with no lockers. It took us over an hour just to get past the first obstacle because everyone was stacking up. I get that it's a popular trail but it felt more like a parking lot than a 4x4 run. Has anyone else noticed how packed Moab has gotten on weekends or am I just getting old and grumpy about it?

Read an article about this last week, said trail tire changes are getting more common since everyone's driving cheaper vehicles with older tires on rough roads. But seriously, pull over to the side even if it takes a few extra minutes. Leaving your car in the middle blocks everyone. Someone I know actually got rear-ended last year because the car behind them didn't see the stopped vehicle in time. Just find a wider spot next time.

Honestly "changing a tire in the middle of the trail" sounds like the worst kind of roadblock. Ngl that's just asking for someone to honk or worse, folks trying to squeeze past and hitting your bumper. Tbh I'd probably just sit there eating snacks and waiting it out.
