Unpopular opinion: that 30 minute upper control arm swap took me 6 hours
Bushings were seized so bad I had to torch the damn things out. Every video online makes it look like a 3 beer job. I'm on a 2010 F150 and the bolts just laughed at my impact gun. Had to cut one out with a sawzall. Anyone else run into bolts that refuse to budge on older trucks? What did you use to break them free?

Somewhere out there is a video of a guy doing this in 20 minutes with a Snap-On impact and absolutely zero rust. Must be nice living in a fantasy world.

Right, because everyone's driveway is a perfectly dry California studio lot with no lug nuts that have been welded on by 10 years of salted winter roads. I've seen those videos too and they make me laugh every single time while I'm fighting with a breaker bar and swearing at my own car. Real life is rust, stripped bolts, and that one screw that just laughs at your impact gun while you're sweating. Fantasy land is a Snap-On tool commercial.
