Starter solenoid died on I-25 south of Denver, here's the fix
Was heading to Moab last Thursday when the truck just clicked at a red light near Castle Rock. No crank, no nothing, just the dash lights dimming like a dying flashlight. Turns out the solenoid on my 96 F-250 had corroded terminals, cost me $14 for a new one at O'Reilly's and 45 minutes in the median. Anyone else carry a spare solenoid or relay in their kit, or am I the only one who got burned this way?
