Skeptical about a $60 crate locker for the trail rig, but it held up at Badlands
Bought a cheap steel lock box off a guy in Terre Haute for 60 bucks and figured it would rattle apart by the first trip. Ran it on my Tacoma build through two weekends at Badlands in Attica and it didn't budge, even with recovery gear bouncing inside. Had to redo the latch with a bolt from the hardware store after the lock got muddy and stuck. Curious what you all run for keeping tools locked down on the trail without paying the big brand prices.
