PSA: torquing your UCA bolts at ride height isn't optional, and I learned that the hard way in Moab last April
Put my 3 inch lift on in the driveway with everything hanging at full droop, and 400 miles later both front bushings were shot because the rubber was twisted from the start, so if you're doing your own suspension work, get the weight back on the tires before you torque anything down, has anyone else cooked a fresh set of bushings this way?
That 400 mile mark is exactly where mine went too, but here is the part that gets people: the front UCA bolts are not the only ones. Your rear lower control arms and track bar have the same issue, and nobody talks about it because the bushings take longer to show it. I did my lift in a buddy's shop in Grand Junction and torqued the fronts at ride height like everyone says, but left the rear hanging. Two months later the rear bushings were cracked and the jeep wandered all over the highway. The rubber does not care how good your torque wrench is, it only cares what position it was in when you locked it down. Do all of them at ride height, every single one, or you will be back under there sooner than you want.
