Overheard a guy at the gas station in Flagstaff say 'if it ain't broke, you haven't modified it enough' and honestly... he might be onto something.

Modifying stuff that works fine just seems like a good way to create new problems. Some people chase perfection and end up breaking a perfectly good thing.

But what if the new problems are actually pretty small?

Remember my buddy who "improved" his reliable old truck? He added a lift kit and bigger tires, and now it rattles over every bump and gets worse gas mileage. Sometimes the fix for nothing being broken is just a broken wallet.
