Just passed 500 miles on my DIY truck bed camper build and I'm honestly shocked it hasn't fallen apart yet

I threw this thing together with scrap wood and harbor freight hinges in my driveway over 3 weekends, and after hauling it up to flagstaff and back twice with zero failures I'm starting to wonder if I accidentally built something decent - has anyone else had a janky project actually hold up way better than expected?

Wait you used harbor freight hinges on something that goes on a truck and it survived 500 miles? Those things barely hold my shed door shut in calm weather. I had a set of those cheap strap hinges snap just from the wind slamming my gate one afternoon. The fact that yours are holding a whole camper together at highway speeds is honestly kind of scary but also impressive. I gotta ask though are those the silver ones or the black ones because I swear the black ones are a little less flimsy.
