Hot take: Powder coating your rig parts is a patience killer

It holds up your build for weeks. I skip it and use durable paint instead. Saves time and gets you driving faster.

Seriously though, I learned that the hard way lol. Waited eight weeks for my last batch of powder coated parts and my whole project just sat there. These days I just use a good rattle can and it turns out great, plus I can fix scratches in an afternoon. The wait just kills the fun of putting the rig together.

My patience runs out faster than that coating cures.

You're just trading waiting time for future repair time. A proper powder coat lasts way longer than any spray paint job.
