Finally found a trick for cleaning mud out of beadlock rings without taking the whole tire off

Spent 3 hours last weekend fighting with caked mud between the ring and the wheel on my F-150 after a run up near Walker Valley. Tried a pressure washer with a turbo nozzle and it got maybe half of it, ended up using a thin metal ruler wrapped in a rag to scrape the rest out in 20 minutes flat. Has anyone else found a better way to deal with this?

My impact gun and a cheap plastic putty knife work well enough for me.

Blew my mind reading that you actually dragged a metal ruler through there, that thing could scratch the bead seat!
