Finally figured out the trick to getting a 2-inch body lift on my '98 Cherokee to sit perfectly level after three attempts.

I realized the front mounts needed a 1/4-inch spacer cut from an old hockey puck to compensate for the engine weight sag, which my buddy in Denver swore was a hack but it actually worked.

A hockey puck spacer is pure genius, honestly.

Got to admit, I felt like a total genius when I first jammed one under my car. Then I realized I was just copying some guy's YouTube fix for a sagging exhaust. Still, it works perfectly and costs like five bucks!

Funny how that works across the whole car hobby. Same thing with zip ties holding up exhausts or using a socket as a make-shift bushing tool. It's just regular life stuff repurposed. People act like it's a hack but really it's just knowing what fits where. Like using a wrench to hammer a nail. Works if you don't overthink it.
