My kitchen sponge was the grossest thing in my house
I kept buying those plastic scrub sponges. Replace them every two weeks. Felt wasteful. Then I tried a wooden dish brush with a replaceable head. The handle lasts forever. Heads are compostable. No more soggy sponge smell. Has anyone else switched and noticed a difference?

Bought one of those wooden brushes six months ago and the handle's actually starting to crack where it sits in the holder. You let yours air dry or do you prop it up somehow? Wondering if I'm just getting too much moisture trapped at the base.

Propped mine up on a bamboo drying rack for a week and the crack sealed right up, no joke. Now I just lean it handle-up in a mug between uses.
