Compared a local broker to a big online lender for my refi... the local guy crushed it on speed alone

I needed to close in 20 days cause my rate lock was expiring. The online lender kept asking for the same documents over email, wasted 4 days. The local broker picked up the phone, came to my house at 7pm with the papers, and we closed on day 18. Has anyone else had better luck with a person you can actually meet face to face?

Wait, he came to your house at 7pm with papers? That's wild, I didn't know people still did that. I guess when someone's willing to drive to you after dinner, they actually care about getting it done.

Call me crazy @tara745 but showing up at 7pm with papers just sounds like bad timing, not dedication.
