Saw a stat about email deliverability that made me double check my whole list
I was digging through a review of Mailchimp vs Constant Contact on here last night and stumbled on a report that said 1 in 6 emails never hit the inbox. That blew my mind because I thought my open rates were just bad content, not technical issues. Has anyone else run into deliverability problems with a vendor after they promised high rates?

Wait which vendor were you using when you saw that stat? Because I had the exact same wakeup call with MailerLite last year when half my newsletter ended up in Gmail's promotions tab instead of primary inbox and I was freaking out thinking people just hated my content lol. Did you check if maybe it's a domain reputation thing or just the vendor's IPs being sketchy? I switched to a smaller ESP that lets you warm up your own IPs and it made a huge difference, but now I'm paranoid about every single send.

Agreeing with @jamienguyen, the promotions tab wake up call is brutal.
