Peace of mind and portfolio growth sounds nice, but where's the fun in that? I miss the good old days of checking my stocks every five minutes and feeling my heart race!

Sounds like you might be mixing up stress with real fun. Didn't that constant checking just make you more likely to sell at the wrong time out of panic? Maybe the fun part was the idea of making money fast, not the actual gut punch of watching losses. What exactly did you enjoy about that feeling of your heart racing? Was it worth the lost sleep?

My old portfolio checking habits would make @amybarnes look chill by comparison (seriously, it was a problem). Auto-investing saved me from my own terrible timing.
