Switching to filtered water fixed my flat coffee

Thought my beans were stale. Tried a taste test with different waters. Filtered made everything pop.

Honestly, getting a simple pitcher filter changed everything for me. The chlorine and minerals in my tap water were muting all the fruity notes in my light roasts. Now I just fill it up the night before and my coffee has way more clarity. Your tap water might be different, but it's a cheap thing to test.

My buddy took like six months to realize his bad espresso was just hard water, just like @the_ray said. We're out here buying fancy gear and the problem was basically a ten dollar filter.
