The week all three offers got rejected on the same house
Last Tuesday I put an offer on a 3 bed 2 bath in Phoenix for $285k and got beat out by two cash buyers. Then Wednesday I tried again on another place and the seller countered with $20k over asking. Has anyone else had a run of bad luck like this where you just couldn't catch a break?

Did you check if the same agent was representing you on all three offers? I had a friend in Tucson who lost three deals in a row and it turned out her agent was texting the listing agents something like "my client is pre-approved but not super solid." The agents get in cahoots sometimes and yours could be tanking you without meaning to. Like they might be too friendly with the other side and giving away your position. Might be worth asking to see exactly what was said in those negotiations. Could be innocent but you never know.

Definitely check the agent's disclosures, @uma_webb28.

Ask your agent for a written breakdown of every offer they submitted for you. Get the timestamps too. If they were slow to submit or changed any terms without telling you, that's a red flag. You can also request full email threads between your agent and the listing agents for each deal. If they get defensive or make excuses, that tells you something right there. A good agent wants you to see the proof. A bad one will try to dodge.
