I thought those 'free lead magnet' webinars were just a scam to get your email.
But I ran one for my moving company last month and got 12 solid booking leads from it, which was way more than I expected. Has anyone else tried a specific webinar platform that actually works for local service businesses?

Honestly that sounds like pure luck. You got 12 leads but how many people signed up and actually watched? For every one of those you probably wasted hours making slides for a bunch of no-shows. Most people just want the free guide and ignore the rest. I tried it for my handyman business and got zero calls, just a bunch of emails that never answer. It's a huge time sink for maybe one or two jobs.

Yeah, the "pure luck" part is where I see it differently. It wasn't about making slides for each person, the system was already built. The key was that the free guide was just the first step in a sequence that kept talking to them automatically. For your handyman business, maybe the guide topic didn't line up with what people actually needed help with right then. If they just want a general tip sheet, they ghost, but if it solves a pressing problem, they're way more likely to stay on the line.
