Can we talk about how people still treat social media like a megaphone?

Back in the day, maybe 2015, you could just post and get seen. Now I see folks blasting the same link five times a day and wondering why no one clicks. In my experience, you have to treat each platform like a different conversation. I spent a month just replying to comments on my business page instead of posting new stuff, and my reach went up by about 30%. Has anyone else found that just talking back works better than shouting now?

Oh, that reminds me of my neighbor's kid. He kept yelling for his dog to come inside, but the dog just ignored him. Then he started whispering the dog's name and making little clicking sounds, and the dog came running right over. Sometimes you just have to stop shouting and try a different tone. It feels a lot like that with these apps now.

You're right about treating each platform like a different conversation. I stopped posting links for a week and just asked questions in my stories. Got way more replies than usual.

That totally lines up with what @wesleyc75 said about questions working better than links.
