My cat jumped on my tablet last night and saved over my vector file with a paw print.
I was working on a logo for a local bakery, and now I'm seriously considering keeping the accidental cat stamp as part of the final design, has anyone else had a happy accident like this?

That's a fantastic idea honestly (and a great story for the client). Did the paw print actually land in a spot that works with the design, or are you having to rework things around it?

Totally got lucky with the placement. A few years back I would have freaked out and tried to fix it, but now I see it as a happy accident. The print landed right in a corner where there was some empty space anyway. It actually balances the layout better than my original plan. Makes the whole piece feel more personal and less perfect in a good way.

Does the client know the story behind the "mistake"? Sometimes that backstory becomes the most valuable part of the piece for them, more than the perfect layout ever could. It turns an object into a real memory with a little character.
