Warning: I found a weird fact about the number 37 that keeps popping up
I was reading about random number generation online last week and saw a post that said people asked to pick a number between 1 and 100 choose 37 way more than any other. I looked it up and a study from a university in 2015 actually backed this up. It's called the '37% rule' in some math problems too. This feels like one of those background details that's just set wrong, you know? It's too specific to be a coincidence. Has anyone else noticed a number that seems to follow them around like this?

Weird, I always pick 23 for some reason.

But is it really that deep, or just a funny math trick?

The 23 thing is a known bias, not a random pick. It comes up a lot in these number games because of how our brains narrow down choices. So it's more of a common human trick than a math one.
