That story from @jordanl82 about the dented red car is so spot on. I had a week where I saw the same license plate, JKF-429, on three different days in three different towns. My neighbor's sprinkler came on at the exact wrong time every single afternoon. It makes you start looking for patterns in everything, like your brain is trying to solve a puzzle that isn't really there.

Whoa, that's wild. Had a day like that once. Same song on the radio three times. Same exact dented red car at two different stoplights. Even my cat did the same weird yawn-stretch thing at 2 PM. Felt like a glitch.
