Question about a traffic light that stayed green for over 10 minutes in Akron

I was the only car at a four-way intersection last Tuesday, and the light stayed solid green for my direction for what felt like forever, so I timed it on my phone and it was 11 minutes and 23 seconds before it finally cycled, which has me wondering if anyone else has seen a traffic signal get stuck like that.

Victor_ward's story about the super short green light is nuts, makes you wonder who programs these things. A light stuck green for 11 minutes is a different kind of problem, like you could have taken a nap. It's probably a sensor issue, but still, that's a long time to just be sitting there waiting for it to change.

Ngl @ramirez.blair, I've had the opposite happen. One time the light turned green so fast I almost missed it. I was checking my phone for half a second and the guy behind me laid on his horn. Some of these lights feel like they're on a two-second timer, honestly.
