My desk neighbor's lunch break starts with machine-like accuracy every day

For the last week, my coworker has grabbed his bag the moment the clock hits noon, without a single delay. I timed it with my phone, and it's always the same down to the second, which is just too weird. Do you think some work habits can feel like tiny matrix bugs?

Totally get that. My old boss used to take his afternoon coffee break at 3:07 pm every single day, never 3:06 or 3:08.

That's hilarious, drew906. My old coworker had the same thing with logging off at exactly 4:59 pm. It hits that uncanny valley of being disciplined but also so weirdly specific.

Maybe it's just good time planning. Some folks do better with a strict schedule, and being right on time helps them work better. Nothing glitchy about that.
