I checked my old photos from the Denver trip and one person is missing now

I was looking at pictures from a hike I took with three friends in Colorado last year. I clearly remember a guy named Ben being in the group shot at the top of the trail. When I pulled up the photo on my laptop yesterday, Ben is just gone, like he was never there. The weird part is, my other two friends in the picture don't remember him at all now. Has anyone else had a person just vanish from a memory and a photo at the same time?

Okay @bettywilson, that's properly spooky. My old yearbook is probably safer because my hair was so bad it could scare off any ghostly edits. Seriously, that perm was a crime. If a phantom teacher swapped in, they'd probably just fix my bangs out of pity. Your cousin's story beats my weirdest school memory for sure.

Wait, what? My friend had something like that happen with a family photo, it was super weird. @theaward, maybe ghosts just really hate bad hair days and old pictures.
