Appreciation post: I picked the left door at the old library in Springfield and my friend swears he saw me go right.

We both remember the choice clearly, but not the same outcome. Has anyone else had a shared memory that just doesn't match up?

Totally get this. I once argued with my sister for an hour about whether our old car was blue or green. We both had such clear pictures in our heads, but the photo album proved us both wrong, it was gray. Memory is just weird like that. Makes you question every little thing you're sure you know.

That "clear picture" thing @noahlane mentioned happens with old songs too... you remember the lyrics totally wrong.
