Vent: My mark beats a laser guide every time

I mean, lasers are fine, but after twenty years, my mark is just as good. Maybe it's just me, but I feel more in tune with the glass this way.

Yeah, lasers have their place for sure, especially on really long runs. But your hand just knows the work after that long, you know? Muscle memory is a real thing. I still double-check my mark with a quick second pass before I commit, just out of habit. That consistency you build up over the years is hard to beat with a tool.

You're totally right about muscle memory being hard to beat. I used to swear by just the tools for everything, but hearing you talk about that built up consistency actually changed my mind lol. The hand does know.
