My $300 investment in a proper ventilation fan was the best money I ever spent.
I used to think opening a window was enough until I got a headache that lasted two days. Bought a 1200 CFM fan from a shop in Portland and set it up right over my bench. Now I can work for hours without feeling sick. Anyone else make a change that fixed a basic safety issue?

That "headache that lasted two days" is no joke, I did the same thing before finally getting a respirator.

Tell me about it, I thought my brain was trying to escape through my eyeballs. You really have to admire the stubbornness of thinking "this time it'll be fine" while actively inhaling poison. My respirator now lives on the workbench as a permanent shame monument. That two day headache feels like your body sending a very angry, overdue bill.
