I just hit 1000 hours on my torch and it feels like I'm finally getting somewhere.
Some say counting hours is just a number, but others argue it's the only real way to track progress when you're learning to control heat and gravity, so what's your take on keeping track of bench time?

Counting hours just makes you focus on the clock.

Ugh, I feel that so hard. I used to track every single minute at my last job and it just made the day drag forever. Like you're just waiting for the numbers to hit a certain point instead of actually getting into your work.

Oh totally! It's like your brain gets stuck in this weird waiting room mode. I've found that when I stop watching the clock, I actually get way more done because I'm not breaking my focus every five minutes. The day goes faster when you're just in the flow of your tasks instead of counting down. That constant clock-checking just kills your momentum.
