Vent: My sister's baby registry was cleared out too fast

I went to buy a gift from my sister's baby registry online, but lots of stuff was sold out. It went fast because everyone got the link at once. My trick is to check the list as soon as it's up and buy right away, or watch for new stock. Keep a gift card on hand just in case.

Ugh, that instant link panic is the worst. @patriciah99 nailed it, it's like your whole body just freezes. The dread is honestly impressive.
