Buddy swore by airing down to 8 psi for mud, I stayed at 15 and got stuck twice in one afternoon at Holly Oaks.

He laughed and yanked me out, but now I'm wondering if super low PSI is worth the bead risk or if I just need better tires, what do you guys run in deep slop?

Wait, 15 psi got you stuck but you think going lower is the reckless move?

It's like people who run their tires at max pressure on dry pavement thinking it saves gas, but then they slide through a turn in the rain. Sometimes you gotta trust what works in the moment, not what looks safe on paper.

And that's the whole thing with tire pressure right there. People chase that last 0.5 mpg on the highway but won't think about braking distance in a sudden downpour. A few pounds lower gives you a bigger contact patch and that's just physics working in your favor when you need it most.
