Switched from wireless earbuds to wired IEMs for my morning runs and it's a completely different experience

I used to just grab whatever Bluetooth buds were on sale at Best Buy, but after losing 3 pairs in 6 months I decided to try out some $30 Kiwi Ears Cadenzas off Amazon. The cable takes a bit to get used to, but the sound is way clearer and I don't have to worry about charging them before heading out. Has anyone else here made the jump from cheap wireless to a budget wired setup for exercise?

Tbh I've never even tried wired IEMs for running, I just stick to the cheap gas station earbuds.

Man you're missing out. I used cheap bluetooth earbuds for years and they'd always fall out or die mid run. Picked up a pair of KZ ZS10 Pros with a short cable and they're way better. They stay in my ears no matter how much I sweat, and the sound is actually decent too.

The Kiwi Ears Cadenzas actually have a detachable cable with standard 0.78mm pins, so you can swap it out for a shorter one or a right-angle connector if the regular cable gets in your way during runs. I picked up a cheap 3-foot cable for like 8 bucks and it's way better for exercise. Also, those KZ ZS10 Pros are solid but they're a bit heavy for running, I've seen people complain about them pulling out from the weight. The Cadenzas are pretty light so they shouldn't have that problem. Might be worth trying a clip to keep the cable secured to your shirt, that's what I do.
