Shoutout to that weird neck fan I thought was a total gimmick

I saw a review for one of those little fans you wear around your neck last summer and thought it looked ridiculous. My friend in Phoenix bought one and swore it was a game changer for walking her dog in the heat. I finally caved and got a cheap one for 15 bucks after a brutal July heatwave. I wore it while mowing my lawn and honestly, it kept my face cool the whole time. The battery lasted about 4 hours before it died. Has anyone else tried one of these and found it actually useful, or did I just get lucky?

Four hours on a cheap battery is actually insane.

Check if the charger is putting out enough amps, some cheap batteries need a higher rate to wake up. I've had luck just unplugging the whole setup for an hour and trying again. Also make sure those terminal connections are tight, a loose ground can drain them faster than you'd think.
