My old phone's battery life went from 4 hours to 2 days

I replaced the battery myself last week for $25 with a kit from iFixit. It's insane how a single worn part can make a whole device feel useless. Anyone else brought a gadget back from the dead like this?

Man, that's awesome! It's crazy how we're told to just buy a new one when the fix is so cheap and simple. I did the same thing with a laptop battery last year and it felt like a brand new machine. Makes you wonder how much perfectly good stuff gets thrown out over one bad part. More people should try this, it's really not that hard.

Wait, hold up, only $25?? That's wild! I always thought those kits were way more expensive, like close to what a shop would charge. That seriously changes everything. I've been putting off fixing my old tablet because I figured it wasn't worth the hassle or cost. You might have just convinced me to finally look into it, lol.

What kind of tablet is it, @miab87? I fixed my old Kindle Fire with a screen kit from Amazon, and the video guide on YouTube was a total lifesaver. Just take it slow and keep track of all the tiny screws!
