Overkill for a phone, sure. But is anyone really carrying a power brick that big just for a laptop? Seems like a lot.

Seriously, I feel this. My work laptop charger is a total brick, it takes up half the pouch in my backpack. I always leave it plugged in at my desk because it's just too heavy to haul around every day.

Tbh it's part of a bigger thing where companies just keep making stuff bigger and heavier instead of smarter. Like car key fobs are bricks now too, or even those giant coffee thermoses people haul around. Nobody asked for any of it to get so bulky.
