Warning: I spent $40 on a DVD box set of 'The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.' thinking it was a lost gem, and it was just okay.

The show had a cool premise with Bruce Campbell, but the jokes felt flat and the plot got weird fast, so now I'm stuck with these dusty discs taking up space on my shelf, anyone else have a show they bought into that just didn't hold up?

Feel your pain, I bought the whole run of "Sliders" hoping for a nostalgia trip. The first season was fun, but man did that show go off the rails. My shelf is a graveyard for bad impulse buys too.

Oh man, "shelf graveyard for bad impulse buys" is way too real. I went all in on "American Gothic" because how could a creepy Caleb show be bad? It was bad. I'm totally with wesleyc75 on selling the thing, I need to just box mine up and get it gone. The space feels worse than losing the cash.

I did the same thing with the complete series of "Nowhere Man" a few years back, spent about thirty bucks. The first few episodes were great, then it just fell apart. My advice, just sell the box set online for whatever you can get. Even ten bucks back is better than letting it collect dust and remind you of the letdown. I use that money to buy a new power tool bit or something, makes the whole thing feel less like a waste.
