PSA: The show 'Nowhere Man' only had one season, not two

I keep seeing people online say it ran for two years, but it was actually canceled after 25 episodes in 1995. My favorite moment was the pilot where the main character's entire life gets erased while he's at a diner. Does anyone else have a clear memory of watching it when it first aired?

Remember watching it with my dad. That diner scene messed me up for a week. The whole idea of your life just being gone like that was terrifying. It's a shame it got canceled, the concept was way ahead of its time. Bruce Greenwood was perfect in it.

Bruce Greenwood's voice in that show still gives me chills. They really nailed that lonely, empty feeling.

Yeah that diner scene really stuck with people. My friend had a weird thing happen after we watched it. He lost his wallet the next day and totally panicked, convinced someone was erasing him like on the show. Tore his whole apartment apart looking for it.
