Had a debate with my dad about "Tales from the Crypt" being horror or comedy. He says it was pure horror, I say it was campy on purpose. Which side is right?

Tell your dad he's half right - those Crypt Keeper puns were way too cheesy to be pure horror. The show walked the line on purpose, that's exactly why it worked so well.

Tell him to just lean into the cheese next time, it makes the scares hit harder.

Wait, wasn't the whole point to be cheesy and scary at the same time lol?
